Another missile attack, another crime against humanity as such. The buildings of a psychological clinic and a veterinary clinic in the city of Dnipro were destroyed. As of now, one person was killed and 15 were wounded. The shelling aftermath is being eliminated and the victims are being rescued. All necessary services are involved. Only an evil state can fight against clinics. There can be no military purpose in this. It is pure terror. Russia has chosen the path of evil of its own will, and it will not abandon this path by itself. We must defeat terror and we will do it. Ukraine and the entire free world together. Today we have another positive result from our team working on exchanges. We have returned 106 more of warriors from captivity - they fought in the Bakhmut sector. It is very important that there was no information about many of these 106 people at all - they were considered missing. But we found them. We brought them back home. 8 officers, 98 soldiers and sergeants... I thank everyone who gave this result.

I thank and President niinisto personally for the prompt implementation of our agreements reached in Helsinki. The 16th package of defense assistance to Ukraine, which will include anti-aircraft systems and ammunition, is urgently needed on the battlefield. Together to victory

I welcome today’s decision of the EUCouncil to extend temporary trade liberalization for Ukrainian products for another year. The full abolition of duties and quotas has been extended until June 2024. As we move towards the EU, this temporary liberalization should become permanent - without any exceptions or restrictions. I am grateful to all EU members for their support, which brings us closer to the EU accession.

We are doing everything we can to reduce the time until new and powerful aircraft with Ukrainian pilots emerge in the Ukrainian skies. It is clear that this global step will allow us to expand our defense capabilities. Because it is only with powerful aircraft that an air defense system can be complete. On the other hand, the first F-16 will be one of the strongest signals from the world that Russia will only lose because of its own aggression, becoming weaker and more isolated. This will be a signal that Russian terror has lost, and our world, which is based on respect for independent nations and the right of peoples to choose their own path, has endured.

The peace of our parents’ generation is the peace that was left as a legacy by those who defeated the penultimate great aggression in Europe. And the peace of our children’s generation is the peace we are gaining right now in the battles against the last aggression in Europe.

The strength of our state now, the strength of our defense now, is the basis of the strength of the rules-based international order. That is why the key task of our country and the purpose of virtually every international communication of ours is to strengthen , to bolster our defense, to increase the capabilities of our warriors and our country as a whole.
